Recent donations and acquisitions are highlighted within a renewed presentation of the modern collections. This display recalls the important support provided by the Club du musée Saint-Pierre, the Cercle Poussin, the Amis du musée, as well as by individual donors and artists’ families in enriching the museum’s 20th- and 21st-century collections. The parcours, structured around several major themes, is based on new dialogues between artists.
The works of Simon Hantaï and Judit Reigl testify, through their radicality, to the influential role these artists played on the art scene of the 1960s–1980s.
